Crossing Boundaries Symposium
Mobilizing STEAM to Tackle Climate Change
May 3 - 4, 2025
Ottawa, ON, Canada
Are you ready to ignite the power of collaboration to confront the climate crisis?
About This Symposium
We currently possess more data and knowledge about the natural world than ever. Yet, our natural world is going through its worst crises: we are facing the sixth mass extinction, rapid biodiversity loss, all compounded by the climate emergency. Decades of research have shown that changes in knowledge are rarely matched by corresponding changes in behaviour. It is time to change the conversation, cross boundaries, blur lines, and redefine what’s possible! Together, we’ll explore how multidisciplinary approaches combined with the intrinsic value of the natural world, and nature-based solutions can deepen public engagement and inspire meaningful change.

Bring your voice to this urgent conversation by speaking at or joining the Crossing Boundaries Symposium!
